We want to celebrate our anniversaries together with you, dear audience, with a dense and diverse programme of events. During the 50th Salzburg Culture Days - the music festival in autumn, we celebrate the 75th anniversary together with you.
The Salzburg artist Michael Ferner created an imaginative series of pictures for the anniversary season of the Salzburg Cultural Association. For the motifs, he was inspired by the programme of the concert cycle. This resulted in 13 large-format works with melodious names such as "Heaven Full of Violins", "The Confetti Saviour", "Nymph" and others.
Excerpts from these paintings accompany us through the season in the annual programme, among other things.
For the 75th anniversary of the Salzburger Kulturvereinigung, the top-class Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin will give a guest performance under the baton of Japanese maestro Yutaka Sado, who already thrilled the audience in the Großes Festspielhaus in October 2021 with his brilliant interpretation of Shostakovich. An exceptional virtuoso, the charismatic keyboard wizard Fazıl Say, will perform on the grand piano.
Prior to the anniversary concert, the Salzburger Kulturvereinigung will host a ceremony at the Salzburg Residenz.
We would be delighted if you would join us in celebrating the anniversary - and the entire 2022/23 anniversary season - with music and events!
