The Sunday meeting with the orchestra of the Salzburg Cultural Association under the baton of Helmut Zeilner, who has been conducting the dedicated amateur orchestra for five years, will once again mark the musical conclusion of the Salzburg Cultural Days. The Matinee is an important platform for young musicians to present themselves to the audience. Many young Salzburg musicians who today play on the great stages of the world have celebrated their first great solo successes with the orchestra of the Salzburg Cultural Association. This year the flutist Friederike Klek will be heard in Thomas Koppel's "Moonchild's Dream" and Franz-Josef Labmayr will play the solo part in W. A. Mozart's Clarinet Concerto.
