Light concert for Ukrainians in Salzburg

On Good Friday, after Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D major, the rather unknown Grabmusik, composed by Mozart at the age of eleven, will be heard. On November 29, 1755, he returned to Salzburg after his first major trip to Europe. He composed a wealth of works that winter, including a cantata that was premiered in Salzburg on Good Friday of 1767. This funeral music of the eleven-year-old child is a musically composed adoration of the Holy Sepulchre of Christ. It will be heard in this concert exactly 255 years to the day after its premiere.
