When you hear Camerata Salzburg, you first think of a repertoire centred around works by Haydn, Beethoven and Schubert and, of course, the works of our genius loci Mozart. The chamber orchestra is also known for its active international concert activities. In this country, the Camerata Salzburg is one of the regular ensembles of the Salzburg Festival and the Mozart Week. This makes the artistic collaboration with legend, cult figure, giver of hope and thoroughbred musician Willi Resetarits all the more extraordinary. For several years he and the composer, arranger, saxophonist and harmonica virtuoso Herbert Berger have been playing together with the Camerata Salzburg. In this programme for voice and chamber orchestra they interpret works arranged around the life themes "love" and "suffering". A very special prelude to the Salzburg Cultural Days: poetic, für´s Heart and at the same time a bit morbid.
