Music:Kaleidoscope: "Le Sacre du Printemps"

Musicians and audience take on different roles in the concert. Logically. But how do they perceive the music? What challenges do orchestras face in their work? What expectations do concert goers have? What does music tell us?

Thomas Heißbauer, former horn player himself and professional musician in the Mozarteum Orchestra and the Camerata Salzburg for many years, would like to intensify the dialogue between musicians and audience and focus on the compositions. With selected audio examples and interesting guests and orchestra colleagues, an exchange about listening experiences and professional knowledge, orchestral traditions and different demands is created.

New perspectives open up. As if viewed through a kaleidoscope, the knowledge about music is broken down into individual parts and put back together more colourfully and beautifully.
