Salzburg Cathedral has an impressive historic organ landscape that is unique north of the Alps. Under the direction of cathedral organist Heribert Metzger, compositions will be heard on all five organs, which they will present individually. The programme also includes works from the Salzburg court music tradition of the 18th century for solo trumpet with organ accompaniment. Finally, an improvisation for five organs can be heard.
