Georg Trakl Archive

Archive & Library

The Georg Trakl Archive offers users a reference library with historical and contemporary editions of Trakl’s works and letters, a collection of international research literature, and documents on the literary, musical, cinematic, and artistic reception of Trakl up to the present day. Translations into numerous European and non-European languages are also available.

A particular treasure is our collection of autographs by Trakl and from his literary circle, including letters to his childhood friend Erhard Buschbeck and the late-discovered poem Hölderlin.

The holdings are listed in the catalog of the University Library of Salzburg and can be accessed on-site by prior appointment.
We would also be happy to assist you personally with your research.
