Hollywood, as a magnificent film and music machine, has long since engraved itself in our minds with legendary music and unforgettable scenes.
The soundtracks of numerous classics and blockbusters evoke strong emotions in their listeners. So, in this concert, it's ‘roll the film (in your head)’ when the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra performs impressive film music at the Grosse Festspielhaus. These include works by John Williams such as “Raiders March” from “Indiana Jones,” “Flight to Neverland” from “Hook,” the theme from “Schindler’s List,” Michael Kamen’s “Robin Hood Overture,” Nino Rota’s “Love Theme” from “Romeo and Juliet,” Klaus Badelt’s “Pirates of the Caribbean Suite,” and many more.
