Flavia Coste seems to possess a sixth sense for theatrical escalations, for the play has barely been running for ten minutes before the audience finds itself entangled in the web she has spun in her captivating debut as a playwright, with no chance of escaping.
“No to Money!” tells the story of Richard, who wants to perform a demonstrative act of heroism and, after winning 162 million euros in the lottery, says “No to Money”. His wife Claire, his mother Rose and Etienne, his best friend and business partner, don’t find this funny at all. But for the audience, it will be great fun!
As is typical for the "Strassentheater", it is directed by Georg Clementi with plenty of energy and music, and this year is performed with great enthusiasm by Ferdinand Kopeinig, Ildiko Babos, Alex Linse, Daniela Enzi, Eric Lebeau and Charlotte Steidl.
