2nd place at ORF Bestenliste in November: "Georg Trakl, Poems and Letters" by Hans Weichselbaum (Ed.)
The historical-critical new edition "Georg Trakl, Dichtungen und Briefe" edited by Dr. Hans Weichselbaum makes it to second place in the ORF list of the best in November.
The new historical-critical edition by Dr. Hans Weichselbaum (director and curator of the Georg Trakl Research and Memorial Site) "Georg Trakl, Dichtungen und Briefe" (Georg Trakl, Poems and Letters), published by Otto Müller Verlag in September, made it to second place on the ORF best-seller list in November. The new edition, which contains previously unpublished poems, letters and reviews by the poet Georg Trakl (1887-1914), who died early, includes both 15 new poems from the "Richard Buhlig Collection", which Marty Bax discovered during research in the archives of the California State University Long Beach, and the poem "Hölderlin", which was discovered in 2016 when the library of the antiquarian Erhard Löcker was dissolved. Previously unpublished literary texts, reviews and a previously unknown letter to Adolf Loos have also been included in this edition.
