Grand Decoration of Merit for Hans Schinwald

President Hans Schinwald was honored yesterday afternoon by Governor Dr. Wilfried Haslauer for his many years of work and great commitment to the Salzburg Cultural Association with the “Grand Decoration of Merit of the Province of Salzburg”.

Hans Schinwald has worked as a volunteer for the Salzburg Cultural Association for over three decades. During his active time as a banker and managing director of the Salzburg Raiffeisen Association, Hans Schinwald always saw his work for culture as a “sensible balance”. After his retirement, he intensified his voluntary work and has worked with great commitment as President for the last 13 years. Prior to this, he served as Vice President and on the Board of Trustees for six years. 

“He has decisively shaped Salzburg's cultural landscape and his work shines far beyond his presidency,” emphasized Governor Wilfried Haslauer at the presentation ceremony.
