Jubilee season 2022/23
Through its year-round activities, the Salzburger Kulturvereinigung is responsible for a considerable part of the city's symphonic musical life and is the only organization to invite international orchestras to the main venue of the Salzburg Festival - the Großes Festspielhaus - even outside festival seasons.
In the upcoming 2022/23 season, we look forward to top-class artists and orchestras in the anniversary season, including Fazıl Say, Nicolas Altstaedt, Milan Pala, Jörg Widmann, Nils Mönkemeyer, Nemanja Radulović, Silver-Garburg, Rafał Blechacz, Herbert Pixner, Duncan Ward, Matthew Halls, Pietari Inkinen, Petr Popelka, Yutaka Sado, Dennis Russel Davies, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the German Symphony Orchestra Berlin, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre National de Lille, Belgian National Orchestra, ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna, Tonkünstler-Orchester NÖ, Deutsche Radiophilharmonie and Mozarteumorchester Salzburg.
In the new format Musik:conText, sounding names such as Karl Markovics, Fritz Karl, Michael Köhlmeier and Cornelius Obonya perform. The new opera production "Der Rosenkavalier" is staged in co-production with the Salzburg Landestheater at the Felsenreitschule.
The concert season includes a cycle of 10 subscription concerts at the Großes Festspielhaus, the 50th Salzburger Kulturtage - The Music Festival in autumn at various venues, the Faschingsmatinee and Faschingssoiree at the Mozarteum Foundation and the New Year's concerts with the New Year's Eve Gala at the SZENE Salzburg and two New Year's concerts at the Großes Festspielhaus.
You can join one of our 13 subscriptions at any time.
The concerts, the heart of the Salzburger Kulturvereinigung, are reinforced by additional music mediation formats.
The Kulturvereinigung would like to cordially invite all concert visitors, young, old, new or experienced, to engage in music outside the concert hall.
In addition to the concert programme, the Salzburger Kulturvereinigung is also responsible for the Georg Trakl Research and Memorial Site and the International Trakl Forum, as well as the Salzburg Street Theatre
We would be delighted if you would accept our wide range of music and recommend it to others!
